Anything that makes you stop prayer isn't the Holy Spirit ! It's a distraction from the enemy 😁👍👍! It is not only the Holy Spirit that give us thoughts. The devil will never give you thoughts to pray and the Holy Spirit will never distract you with a chore while you're praying , yet you have freewill to choose who you'd listen to !

YES! HE can sometimes tell you to change your tooth brush or if you have a new shoe but keep wearing the old one HE can instruct you to do away with the old one and start wearing the new ones.
