Now there is a fourth female juror who gave a phone interview to CBS. She said she wanted to vote guilty, and so did some others, but these three “bigger personalities” bullied them into NGRI! This whole trial was such a shit show beginning to end. My god.

At the end of the day we would not be having this conversation if the hold out juror had held out because he felt like there was evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that proved her guilt. The fact that he said he had reasonable doubt but refused to vote that way is the only point. The fact that jurors went into the room not in complete agreement is normal, expected and should be supported. What should not be allowed is for someone to not follow the law when they are in that room.

I’m surprised there were nurses and teachers on this jury. Teachers are usually dismissed from any case with victims who are children. This makes me think the prosecutors thought women would side with them based solely on emotion and not logic.

It's "engaging" because it's a white woman. For some societal reason white women have become the poster child for postpartum effects period. If we learn anything, I hope it's that we need to use the same analytical and critical thinking skills for women of every race.
