I would be asked why was I on personal time…. Do I need to work diapers now? 6 minutes allowed per day aside from 15 breaks. It would take 3 minutes alone to walk to the rest room. Micro managing on steroids.

people always think "oh so you just sit all day on AC and answer calls, sounds pretty easy to me" but they do NOT understand the amount of physical exhaustion of talking to people all day that have the most annoying/angry/moronic questions, I once worked for a bank customer service, after almost half an hour of trying to explain to a lady why $0.50+$0.50=$1 she got made and said "do you think I'm a cow? do you think I'm a stupid cow??" and that was my first supervisor call 💀

I worked call center for 5 years for a really great company. the high pay, and great benefits still wasn't enough to offset how draining it was. I quit that job a few years ago and Im not lying when I say Im still processing the trauma from that role.
