@dralexgeorge: My mind is where my body is. I’ve gone back on ADHD medication because I’ve been struggling with impulsivity and feeling out of control, particularly around food. The food noise. That pull to go and eat something for a bit of a boost. An hour after taking my medication, that noise has dialled down massively. I feel calmer, less impulsive. I don’t feel that same rush towards food. I’m walking with Rolo and I can just be here. It’s not only about being able to work or get things done. It’s being able to enjoy a moment without feeling pulled somewhere else. This is my experience today. It might not be yours, and that’s absolutely valid. I’m sharing how it feels for me.
