Several years ago, God laid it on my heart to teach financial stewardship because there is a need in the Body of Christ. There are people who are called to start businesses. People who are called to go back to school, write books, purchase homes, finance their children’s education, give generously, and do things that will impact generations. And sometimes what is holding us back is our finances. Not always because we don’t have enough—but because what we have hasn’t been managed well. That’s why I teach this. I believe God has called me to teach, show, instruct, and educate people in the area of financial stewardship. And I don’t teach this as someone who has everything figured out. I have my own testimony and my own experiences with stewardship, and I’m learning every day that stewardship is something we have to practice DAILY. But one thing about me: I don’t do money without God. When you sit down to create your budget, invite God into that space. Ask Him for wisdom. Ask Him for strategy. Ask Him for favor. Ask Him to grow your faith. Ask Him to show you how to better steward what He’s already placed in your hands. Because sometimes we’re asking God for more while overlooking what He’s already given us. There may be gifts in your hands. Talents in your hands. Knowledge, experience, ideas, opportunities, and resources that you’ve discounted because you didn’t recognize their value. And that very thing could be part of God’s provision for your next season. Lord, bless the work of our hands. Show us what’s already in our hands—and teach us how to steward it well. But when we pray and ask God for direction, we also have to be willing to execute when He shows us what to do. Sometimes we get in our own way. We overthink. We underestimate ourselves. We don’t fully understand who God created us to be or what we’re capable of. GET UP. You are full of greatness because your Creator put something in you. But sometimes you won’t discover what’s in you until you MOVE. As you move, layers begin to be exposed. You walk into rooms you’ve never been in before. You encounter situations you’ve never experienced before. And suddenly, a version of you shows up that was never required in the last season. You find out: I can do this. There were things inside of you that you didn’t even know were there. So if God called you to it, trust Him to call you through it. You are capable. You are able. And when God puts His stamp on something, nobody can stop what He has ordained. That’s the heart behind Good Money Stewards. We’re going to talk about budgeting. We’re going to talk about saving. We’re going to talk about money, stewardship, family, purpose, business, life—and we’re going to talk about Jesus. Because I don’t do money without God. God is the Owner. ↓ We are the stewards. ↓ We’ve been entrusted with resources. ↓ Our responsibility is faithfulness. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luke 16:10 If that’s not what you’re looking for, I understand if this isn’t the page for you. But if you’re ready to become more intentional with what God has placed in your hands—you’re in the right place. Let’s steward it well. 💚
