Its steps include: intention, facing the gibla, the opening takbeer, reciting Al-Fatihah and any other verses from the Qur'an, bowing with tranquility, rising from it, prostrating twice, then standing for the next rak'ah, and the tashahhud at the end. Detailed steps of the prayer: Preparation: wudu, facing the gibla, and covering the 'awrah. Intention: bringing the intention of the prayer to mind (without uttering it). Opening takbeer: saying "Allahu Akbar" while raising the hands level with the shoulders. Standing and recitation: placing the right hand over the left on the chest, reciting the opening supplication (optional), then Al-Fatihah and any other verses from the Qur'an.
