Crescent city is elite and hands down the BEST thing SJM has written

MoonBeam Jackal :
I think I would agree. CC carries so much more depth right away. TOG was a great book, but CC went straight to epic world building and depth. Both are amazing books.

Oof I'll have to agree to disagree. I liked CC, but it was my least favorite of SJM's series. Throne of Glass is a long series, but it totally won me over. I hard time getting into book one of CC.

CC is easily her best work. She packed all the feelings of ToG series into the first book of CC!

Perspective & Wonder :
I absolutely love both. I’ve reread Crescent City more times than TOG or ACOTAR. I think CC is off putting to people because it’s 2026 fantasy if that makes sense - with the technology and iPhones. I don’t think many fantasy readers are use to that.
