What sneakers do you recommend for a lot of slow and slightly inclined treadmill walking? I’ve been using the hoka Clifton for years now and I have to replace them a lot because of the amount of miles I do. I want another option to rotate in and I like the weight and cushioning on the hokas!

I have the Hoka Gaviota 5, and was suggested this specific one because I’ve broken my ankle twice and have weaker tendons/ligaments with that ankle. If I were to roll my ankle it would probably snap, which is what happened the second time I broke it. The ankle support in these are amazing. Any time I’ve stepped anywhere uneven where I normally would have rolled my ankle or sprained it, these keep it from happening. I literally call them my safety shoes. 10/10

Hoka has hurt my plantar fasciitis so much. The only shoe that has worked for me is Brooks Adrenaline.

I have wide flat feet, I’m plus size so I need something that’s not going to flatten after a couple weeks of wear, and I have plantar fasciitis and CRAZY heel pain. Any suggestions for walking sneakers? The only shoes I can wear comfortably these days are my Birkenstock arizonas, but I need a sneaker. I also oversupinate despite having flat feet. My podiatrist recommended hokas but everyone I know say they stop being supportive after a few weeks because they’re so soft inside.
