Exactly, it's something I'll never forget. I was born and raised in New York. I was actually graduating from junior high, I had just turned 15, and it was the start of my high school journey.

I was 33 years old and working from home that day (HomeOffice 2001) on a lighting project. It was early afternoon in Germany, and the weather was just as nice as it was in New York. The radio was always playing in the background when the music was interrupted by an urgent news bulletin. Shortly afterward, I turned on the TV and saw the second plane fly into the South Tower, and then: Silence, horror, and disbelief. I called my girlfriend—now my wife—at the office; she couldn’t believe it. I rang the doorbell at our neighbors’ house—an older couple. We watched the terrible news together. That day marked the end of a carefree, peaceful time all over the world. 🥺
R.I.P for all the victims. 🌹

I was 12. In Finland it was afternoon. Came home from school with my siblings and both mom and dad came home at the same time. I turned on the TV to see some cartoons. Well, no cartoons that day.
Watching the news and seeing the second plane hit in real time was something I will never forget. 🙁 And it was me who demanded to know what adults know because my mom tried to make us go out and play instead.
To be honest that day made me mature way too fast.

I'm from Poland, I was 14yo. I remember the exact moment when I heard about the attack. I was in my room, near my desk. I was listen to the radio(this is how I heard about the news). Then my friend called me to tell me what happened. We both had families in US. On this day the whole world paused. I will never forget what heppened.

I was 11 in Ireland. Our teacher told us, couldn’t believe it. New York? That can’t be true. I was so traumatised for all the victims and the US. It was such a scary time, what was next, what happens now. Was all I was thinking x

Yes, I was 13 years old too; I just come home from school and saw it on television. Nothing was announced at school, which I found strange even back then. ( The Netherlands )
