it was never going to be the chip makers. who even thought that? nvidia literally financed all the data centers. common sense could have told that the investment wasnt in the chip makers. How well will it last in an autonomous situation is the key. the income earned is all from laying off so many ppl. now u have to hire AI programmers? eh what im seeing are the tech guys who were laid off that picked up AI models are going to be competing against big tech corps? idk but im anxious to see how it plays out.

Unfortunately for Oracle, the data centers they are super heavily in debt for, have barely been constructed and most haven't been built at all. It's unclear when or even if they will get built. Oracle might pull some accounting trick out of the air to make their numbers look OK, but they are in real, real trouble. And OpenAI is an at least the same kind of trouble. Conceivably even worse.
