"Las Malvinas son españolas" CALLATE CALLATE CERRA EL ORTO Now seriously, I've been wanting to talk about this whole mass hate campain towards my country and people. These days Argentina has been under the spotlight on most social media and, unfortunately, not for anything good. There are a lot of influencers and major celebrities spreading misinformation about how we argentinians are: they are calling us racists, they are calling us egocentrics, they are portraing us as the worst country/community in the world, etc. Sadly, this isn't anything new, I fear that the whole situation is repeating from last World Cup (2022), but on a significantly larger and more violent scale (both verbally and phisically from what I had to watch). This wasn't any support act so Argentina, aka the villain, loses against Spain, aka the mighty hero who will save the football, this was and is straight orchestrated xenophobia from almost all world towards one single country. You know what's the worst part? There are people watching all this AND SUPPORTING IT, THAT'S WHAT UPSETS ME THE MOST. I don't feel good anymore opening TikTok nor Twitter nor even fricking YT sometimes, because I see it at all places: people hating on my country, on my people, on my friends, on me, just because of our nationality. I hate all this, because if we defend ourselves and our fatherland, our pride, suddenly we are the bad guys. They hate us because we love and are proud of our nation, they hate us because we don't let us down like they want us to do. When there is any country celebrating an achievement, it's pride, when it's Argentina doing so, it's egoism and nothing to be proud of. Anyway, sorry if I made any spelling or grammar mistakes, I just wanted to vent in English so more people could know about it. Beware fake news and misinformation please.
