I had a chonky chocolate lab named Kodi Bear because he looked like a Kodiak Bear cub when we got him. He ran freely on my 25 acres and was pure muscle but was so chonky. The vet said to ignore the “fat dog” comments because they only see what they want. Truck is absolutely adorable!

to everyone talking about how a dog being overweight is abuse, it's not always the owners fault. Sometimes it's due to the breed or surgeries (like getting your dog fixed). Labs are prone to obesity, unfortunately and a lab being overweight doesn't always mean it's the owners fault. I have a lab-corgi mix and he's overweight but thats not our fault, his breed is prone to obesity and he got overweight when we got him fixed. Please do your research people.
