@punkncoffee: 29 years ago, Goldfinger released 'Hang-Ups', their second studio album, through Mojo Records. The album was produced by Jay Rifkin and the band's vocalist, John Feldmann. The lineup that recorded the material consisted of Feldmann himself on vocals and rhythm guitar, Charlie Paulson on lead guitar, Simon Williams on bass, and Darrin Pfeiffer on drums. To expand the instrumentation during the studio sessions, they incorporated a horn section featuring several guest musicians from the California ska-punk scene, including Angelo Moore of Fishbone, and Dan Regan, Scott Klopfenstein, and Aaron Barrett of Reel Big Fish. Although the singles from the album were "This Lonely Place" and "My Head", the song that opens the record, "Superman", composed in 1994 before the band's first album, gained greater popularity two years after the release of 'Hangs-Ups' when it was included in the soundtrack of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. #Ska #SkaPunk #Goldfinger #Punk #Superman
