I hate this mischaracterization of her. It used to be love, but over time it turned into obsession. But at no point does she get jealous or kill people for Madoka like Yanderes usually do. She still cares about the other girls of the Holy Quintet and keeping Madoka safe. Homura is a complex and multi-layered character, but people often mischaracterize her in ridiculous and absurd ways without truly trying to understand her.
