Mfs just be on autopilot. They see someone coming up on them and their subconscious says “oh I must be going slow” so they speed up and try to stay with you. Then 10 seconds later they’re like “ fuck I’m going faster than I want to” then slow back down. Or it’s ego

trust me it's not just big trucks they do it to pisses me off u have your cruise set when u get almost beside them they speed up to match your speed then u gotta speed up or slow down cause now your the asshole blocking up the passing lane

bro i guarantee you they do this to everyone, not just big rigs, and it pisses me off to no end i will have my cruise control on and the guy in the other lane will repeatedly speed up as i get close to him and then slow back down when he gets a good distance ahead

I think it’s either because they’re tired or on their phone and don’t realize they’re going slower than they should be. Either way there’s no need to speed up as we’re passing them, just wait until we get back over then come around and keep going.
