@desireecocroft4: When I started training for this half marathon, I didn't realize how much more I needed to refuel at higher mileage. I kind of knew it in my head, but I was so used to pushing myself to prove I could do more with less. That wasn't actually helping my body — and it made me ask: where else am I doing this in my life? Trying to prove I can do it without much help, without much support, without refueling. We've been trained to be achievers, to prove something, to wear 'look what I can do with barely anything' like a badge of honor. But is that really something to celebrate? Maybe it got you through a tough season. But that's not how we're meant to live. We need to refuel more often — not wait until something crashes.
