Born in Cordoba and raised in Rome, he spent his life moving between philosophy, politics, wealth, power, exile, and the uncertainties of life. His writings focused on the things that remain difficult no matter who we are: fear, anger, ambition, loss, death, desire, and our constant struggle to control what cannot be controlled.
