it's just so frustrating that after all the years they spent together, it was never (or maybe barely) addressed how they wanted to be loved. surely a good communication can actually bring them to consensus. it hurts my head thinking that it was the physical attraction that contributed greatly in bringing them to 6yrs (coz it was the case in the book, it's purely one sided. LN disrespected her so much and she just accepted that)

Totally agree her insecurity overshadowed every action of love that he showed her. He was so into her from the beginning I think it actually caught him off guard but once he realizes his feelings he was all in.

Acts of service mean nothing if they come with words that tear someone down. What’s the point of doing all those things for your partner if, in the moments they need comfort, you choose to hurt them with cruel words and insults? You can’t use good actions to excuse harmful behavior. A loving partner should make you feel safe and supported, not leave you questioning your worth or your mental well-being.✌
