8cm. The 2cm bar becomes 3cm as a shadow, so its a 2:3 ratio. The shadow for the taller bar(excluding the wall shadow) is 6, so using a 2:3 ratio, 6cm as a shadow would be 4cm as the bar. Adding the extra 4cm on the wall, it’ll be 8cm tall

4cm high shadow on the wall is twice height of the green bar, meaning if the wall wasn’t there, the shadow of the red bar would extend 6cm further, which means the shadow of the red bar should be 12cm. If the shadow is 12cm (4x the length of the green bar’s shadow), then the height of the red bar is 4x the height of the green bar, or 8cm.

Ratio of red to to its floor shadow should also be 2:3, floor shadow is 6 so red must be 4 up to the point where it casts a shadow on the floor. Then add 4 for the shadow on the wall you get 8

Based on Green, tower is 2/3 of shadow. 2/3 of red shadow is 4. Shadow on upright wall has not distortion so is 4. 4+4 is 8

you over complicated it, you know the shadow to height ratio is 2/3, we can look at the upper part of the red bar, it's shadow end at the wall at 6m, so what height of an object would produce a 6m shadow, answer is 4, as it's just 2/3 doubled, then we just add the already vertical part of the shadow, so 4+4=8

The ratio of bar to shadow is 2:3, assume the 4m shadow to be rigid, then that 4m bar will produce a 6m shadow. So 6m shadow plus another 6m shadow is 12m shadow if there was no purple wall. And using the ratio, a 12m shadow could only be from a 8m bar
