I woke up in the middle of the night last night and felt the need to google how in the world they came down the way they did. Still doesn’t make much sense, planes hit at the top why’d the whole thing go? The weight? Google said the heat, which I guess makes sense but again towards the top. I guess my non engineer brain thinks that if the top fails it’ll kinda fall off not the entire thing go down.

I will never forget. I so wanna go back to NYC. I also wanna go to PA and DC. I went to NYC in 2007 my uncle mom sister and aunt and I walked the same path as the New Yorkers that day when the towers fell. I remember we went to ground zero before anything was built. I remember seeing that big cross from one of the towers standing tall with a USA flag on it. I looked at where them towers were and thinking how these massive beautiful towers could fit side by side in a small place like that, I was crying had chills and I felt all the beautiful angels we all lost around me I fell to the ground started crying and started crying and started praying out loud with my family we sat there for hours just thinking and talking about the souls lost that day and what they all went through. I just started high school sitting in a classroom. When my cousin's best friend ran in and said we had to watch the TV we were all confused when he put on CNN and saw the tower burning, one kid looked at the tv and said "this has to be an accident" then we all saw the second plane hit and I shook my head with tears in my eyes and said out loud "thats no accident, we are under attack" my school let us go home early, cause they didn't know if something was gonna happen where I live. In 2002 I remember after 9/11 I flew from Florida to live with my grandma in Canada and I got to my set sat down scared cause I was flying right after 9/11, I was sitting with a young man. And for some reason we both looked up and saw a family from the middle east and we both looked at each other, and the young man saw me scared. and he said "it's ok Ma'am your safe I promise you I got you if something happens on the flight" he went into his bag and handed me a cross necklace and handed me it said I want you to take this it'll keep you safe, it was my sister's she was on an airline that hit the North tower and she forgot to bring the necklace with her that morning, I think she would like for you to have it. I still have that necklace and wear it all the time. I still think of that young man for him to just talk to me and calm me down. That man showed me there are still amazing people out there. God bless 💙
