Video game adaptations will always be the biggest waste of talent, built in fanbase already, source material, and Hollywood consistently messes it up

from what I looked up, it opened on a Wednesday (nov 10th 1999) because Veterans day(November 11th 1999) was the next day and most schools were closed, and capitalize on kids not having school the next day.

I got the Electabuzz card when I saw Pokemon in theaters. I remember seeing a website that basically spoiled the movie with scene by scene screenshots. I didn't care, still loved it.

you know I give double dragon some credit the story was simple so what else they could do and then DOA same situation they had to find the story. it's there but meh. Mortal Kombat definitely showed it can be done at least the first one lol.
