Jesus suffered more, u cant really compare everyones suffering like its a scoreboard, but jesus didnt just go through an ordinary death. he was deeply distressed before the crucifixion and still chose the fathers will, and christianity teaches that he bore the sins of humanity and faced death itself for us. and for people back then who never even heard about jesus, the bible doesnt say god judges them exactly like someone who knew the gospel and rejected it. romans 2 literally says people who didnt have the law are judged without the law and that their conscience matters, so God judges people according to what they knew and how they responded to it. u also gotta separate human suffering from Gods final judgment. the slaves who suffered were not invisible to God, and the Bible literally says God shows no favoritism and that masters will answer to Him too. ephesians 6:9 says masters are to stop threatening their slaves because their Master and theirs is in heaven, and colossians 4:1 says masters have to give their slaves what is right and fair because they also have a Master in heaven. and jesus wasnt just some guy watching suffering from a distance. he willingly entered human suffering himself, was deeply distressed before his death, and christian teaching is that he bore the sins of humanity and defeated death. so the christian claim isnt that God doesnt care about suffering, its that God allows a world where human choices have real consequences while still holding people accountable and ultimately judging perfectly. and for people who never heard of christ, dont just assume God judges them exactly like someone who heard the gospel and knowingly rejected it. romans 2 says God judges without favoritism and deals with people according to what they knew, and some christian traditions hold that people who never knew the gospel through no fault of their own can still be saved if they sincerely seek God.
