@drallanbacon: Intestinal worms are uncommon in the US. Being tired and bloated doesn’t suddenly make them the most likely explanation. One large US laboratory detected worm infections in about 0.24% of more than 43,000 patients tested after improving its screening. That’s in people suspected to have a problem. It certainly doesn’t support assuming everyone watching needs a parasite cleanse. PMID: 42283511 Bloating, fatigue, and digestive discomfort are not enough to diagnose intestinal parasites. Your symptoms, exposure history, and appropriate testing matter. You can have a rough week without needing to be dewormed. (CDC) And even when a parasite is identified, whether it explains your symptoms is a separate question. Persistent digestive problems deserve a proper evaluation. Someone confidently blaming parasites for your gut health issues still needs evidence that you have them. You don't need to pay for parasite testing. -Allan
