Schools keep pushing kids thru without ensuring they have a real understanding of the material. I had to spend 2 months retracting my brother math because he couldn’t do basic multi-digit addition and subtraction, much less multiplication and division. Can’t even effectively homeschool my kid in BC because of how asinine the requirements are compared to Alberta for example. Public school districts across the country need to come together and reset the fuckin curriculum and focus on less social political BS and more actual learning of fundamental skills necessary to have the chance to do well in school.

Our Public Education System is a joke,when kids are leaving public school high school and still can not read that along tells you all you need to know about the Education System we have in Canada. And for the parents who sit bavk and don't care you are also failing your kid's.
