If your 21 and you have already had payouts then you’re doing amazing,, so go easy on yourself. The best advice I can give you is just trade one pair, and learn it like the back of your hand. I’ve traded for over 12yrs and the only thing I trade is gold, I know it inside out and it makes my life very easy! I haven’t even looked at another pair for years. And lastly, be extremely cautious who you take advice off, anybody on social media that has anything to sell you (ie a course or mentorship etc,,) can not trade! Successful traders have nothing to sell.

It’s hard, I struggled for 3 years before I became consistently profitable. I’ve blown more than 15 eval accounts and 5-6 live funded accounts which were all 6 figures. However sometimes our brains have a difficulty getting rid of bad habits, mine was constantly wanting to switch strategies and signal groups. After a period of time where I actually was at my lowest point of all time financially, I simplified my strategy, stuck to it, collected data on how it preformed and in which market conditions it was most profitable, and said to myself “I know I’m going to shit my pants every time I enter a trade because I don’t trust it yet, but I’m just going to do it and I won’t give in into emotional entries, only my strategy”. That flipped everything for me because for the first time I really was profitable. Sometimes I had a week where I didn’t even get a setup and I would be so scared I missed out on money and validation to myself but I still stuck to it. And when losses occurred I became so anxious to enter the next trade but I just said to myself “just do it, for the first time trust yourself”. Now I’m multiple 6 figures funded and I still feel anxious sometimes entering a trade and also still feel shit after a loss. But over time it didn’t feel like I got better, it felt like I just became less shit at losing and giving in into bad habits and emotional trading. Hopefully this motivates you a little that it will take some time but I know you’ll get there, I got faith in you 🙌🏼

I quit my job as a doctor 2.5 years ago and started full time learning ICT and trading on day 1. 14 months is still early days, you have not had enough experience in the markets. Every great trader has been where you are and has got burnt over and over and over again and the reflection periods after you blow up is where you make the progress and rules which prevent you from doing it next time. Sometimes you have to make the same mistakes and blown up again and again. My practical advice to you from what you’ve said: in your free time, do chart study and journal 1-2 years of data using your model I.e 2023 and 2024. It’s faster than backtesting. Just go through the weeks and apply your model and journal and see how often your model appears and build up 2 years of experience that way from just seeing your model play out week after week. Make sure you journal all the other confluences and details such as red folder news events and SMTs etc (HTF or LTF). See how often your model plays out. You should see entire periods where you’re getting 0 to 1 trade a week. Sometimes a week where you lose 2-3 times. What you’ll see after 2 years of journaled data is that these periods are normal and that you have to survive them so that you can capitalise on the good periods. You will also build up 2 years of experience and be a lot more confident when executing your model. You will always develop a set of rules/negative confluences which tell you when to not take a trade that looks like your set up because it loses often I.e FOMC weeks, day before NFP, MONDAYS etc (Monday is the worst day - I have 3 years of journaled data and only 3% of my trades are on a Monday and a large percentage of losers). I have taken 200k in payouts from prop and I achieved my first payout in month 14 and then from month 18 onwards

Switch to a live account and trade stocks on apps like trading 212, a lot easier to learn how to day/swing trade stocks and make money longer term rather than classic day trading

Been there, similar situation. Traded since back in covid times, started taking it seriously this year. Lots of time and money spent, March I had 10k of payouts, June was good with around 6, but nothing since then. Analysis paralysis is definitely apparent, the more time you spend looking into trading and various different methods you end up second guessing yourself, I hesitate and then the move I wanted happens. Blew a 150k funded account last week, got it back now but I also find a funded harder to trade than an eval. I can pass them easily because I ‘don’t care’ but when you’re funded your mindset changes. It’s hard, take some time off and strip it back to basics

The days bias, Best price to enter. any news on forex factory, supply demand levels. liquidity levels, high low of the day, No over/revenge trading, wait for best entry

Take time to read some books, learn from the masters, start small or paper fake trade and build up. back in the day before charts. people traded just on the numbers. the guy that invented candle sticks, was Japanese and was trading the price of rice, hundreds of years ago. There were no computers.

It’s a mindset game, you see a trade set up, you enter.. BAM StopLoss hit then you start revenge trading.. it happens to us all. What most people don’t see is the heartbreak when you wait for a clean setup and it goes against you. Stick to your plan/setup and execute. If it was a A+ set up and still lost? Cool it happens. Log off and go for a walk 🤙🏼

It’s a journey, both losses and profits. It’s not about how you see your wins, but how you react to losing capital. Each time there is a lesson to learn, you’re the only one that can choose to learn that lesson, or subsidise and watch it happen again. You’ve got this! 🙌🏽

It happens, but if your strategy isn’t there and you’re not confident in an entry, the best trade is the one you don’t take. I’ve learnt more from losses than my wins and sometimes it goes against me but it’s the game.
