I got one on carnival for $50 bucks one time! I was able to pick everything though. I think it was a week before the cruise. I live in Galveston so I don’t have to worry about parking.

I just booked someone on a last minute cruise out of San Diego in a balcony cabin. Great price but she had a choice of 2 cabins.

Not with NCL anymore!! According to travel weekly, they plan on keeping the prices lower, consistently the whole booking period. I’m anxious to see how true this on when I book my next vacation!

First night of the cruise I went to the matre de and was able to get early dining added when they didn’t have times available when booking. I like early dining so I can do all the evening entertainment.

If you don’t get the dining time you want/need, go to the guest services desk as soon as you board and let them know the situation and you need to dine with your cousin. Its very rare they won’t accommodate!

I’m too nervous to book last minute. I have to have everything planned out a year ahead of time. I even book my flights as soon as possible. The cost of peace of mind is real!!

Look to see if you can park at a hotel and take an Uber in. I do this for the airport often.

My husband and I book last minute all the time. We also live in LA and there are a lot of cruises from Long Beach and San Pedro. We are also very flexible and are just happy to be on the cruise.
