Do NOT over revise and dedicate all of your free time. Never cancel plans because of an exam. I dedicated a lot of time and spent a couple of months revising for my first one. Failed. The last 4 I’ve started revising around 1-2 weeks before the exam for 30-60 mins a day and then more revision the day or 2 before with a care free attitude. Passed all 4 comfortably.

sometimes the question bank does not reflect the exam paper at all😹 always do a sample paper (especially for assurance risk fundamentals)

Get into the QB early - you’ll learn a lot that way than reading through your notes. Make sure to do mocks to time as these exams are so time pressured & don’t overlook the niche areas as the ICAEW will always find a way to test them. Good luck!

QB, spam it like your life depends on it. dont focus on trying to understand the content first time round in college. just at minimum listen to the theory and question practise will solidify it. i failed exams at first because I was trying to understand the theory and didnt spend nearly enough time just jumping straight to the deep end to QB practise.
