novel reader, y'all are overreacting. Idk in which world an anime adaptation will contain EVERY detail from the source, especially ln adaptation which is a lot harder than manga. "r-rui's chapter-" yeah it's a bit disappointing, but y'all forget the fact every ep in s4 was like 26-28 minutes long, longer than usual 22-24 minutes episodes from any anime. Voice acting top tier, good animation and the scene itself was amazing. Genuinely ppl hating on anything💔

honestly in my opinion, the episode shouldve ended on the cliffhanger where he looks down on Rui. i think if it ended with subaru merging, it would've been a perfectly great episode. then next episode would start with Rui's backstory. i just think cramming in rui clone fighting, subaru reuniting with emilia, etc at the end was a little much for the pacing. i know the ball has to roll but just this once i had a issue with it

Imo, Amazing guy scene was amazing. I don't need to compare it to the novel, it's self-explanatory. But my biggest, biggest gripe is Rui's named. I might be coping with this one, but let's hope they add a flashback in a later episode (like WF did with Roswaal suffering from mana sickness in Season 2)
