@neuronandrosepsych: Look…listen. Some of us autistic and adhd folks have emotional support animals... and some of us have emotional support rocks. Some of us also may or may not have pockets or shelves or even full collections full of tiny treasures that give us glimmers and make everything right in the world. And yes, I -am- a grown-ass AuDHD psychologist wandering around a metaphysical store looking at rocks like I have just personally discovered geology. Do I need another rock? Nope. Did I find the correct rocks that I needed today? That is an entirely different question.
