it happened to me back in 2024, I searched usps address change on google, then I clicked the first one of the list which was sponsored link, I did not notice any thing different, I entered every thing along with my credit card info, when I clicked next, I got text message, email and push notification from american express, they rejected the order which was a couple hundreds, usps suppose to be 1 dollar. they almost got me, when I called Amex, they sent me new card and the old one was canceled.

This happened to me with Norton. Norton came up on top with their 800 number...I called it so I could cancel my account. It was a scamming setup. Good thing I was smart enough to realize it, because they are good at what they do. Stay safe people

Yep I got sucker, luckily it was only a payment. I wasn’t paying attention and trying to go to the USPS site to change my address and I saw what looked like there logo and didn’t, only to have to pay 100 in the end, that’s when I realized what had happened. Luckily nothing else came of it.

Happened when I googled canon customer service. I clicked on the phone number 🙈 which resulted in a surreal conversation about my printer. Then he started talking about me purchasing a gift card. Quickly reported to Google, dont know if they did anything.

Happened when I searched the Ordinary. The price was 1/4 of the price at Sephora. The payment kept not going through but then I got an email that credit card was successfully added to someone’s Apple Wallet.
