here is a question you might be able to answer. I have a 97 with a 6.5 in it. electronic pump. PMD is relocated obviously. when I'm driving it it will be running fine cruising along and then the engine will act like you took your foot off the throttle even though you didn't. it will drop down to idle then after a few seconds the throttle starts working again I've already changed the TPS multiple times

Why do people call these 6.5’s a Detroit? They were never advertised as Detroit or were there badges on the trucks. I worked at a Detroit dealer, you couldn’t order 6.5 engine components from Detroit you had to go to GM. I’m definitely interested to see what kind of numbers you get out of it!
