Why is it unreliable? shouldn't every state know exactly who it is eligible and registered to vote. that seems like basic common sense when it comes to running elections, make sure that only those who are allowed to vote are registered to vote. new Jersey is learning this lesson.

Seriously, you are against voting fraud protection. Verify ALL voter registration (all parties) AND present a legal ID to verify that you are actually the person who is registered before you are allowed to vote!! WHY would ANYONE be against that, unless you wanted to cheat??
