The amount of stress a farmer undergoes is extremely high...Everything (literally every thing) is against you the moment you plant a seed in the ground... At the end of the day you do what you can and it's definitely not worth your life if things go bad. They'll always be another farmer te replace your family's legacy. Everything comes to an end at some point. I'm 30 years old and I was literally working myself to severe health problems trying to grow our family farm business. It's impossible to overcome today's weather, political, and Ag economic conditions to grow. Today I'm growing at a much lower scale and not working myself to death trying to make other people who don't touch a grim of dirt money.( chemical/seed companies, commodity buyers, etc)
