It is faster. I have the maker 5 and the maker 4. Side by side the maker 5 is faster, smaller, and does use all the og maker tools EXCEPT, the scoring pen. It does not fit anymore. You also now need to take the pen out if you’re using the draw feature before moving on to scoring or cutting.

I upgraded to the Maker 4 instead of 5. I don’t like they took the ability to put a pen in with a cut blade at the same time away
