Idk I have so many conflicting feelings about it bc while I don’t believe taking away the parade is beneficial or fair to the community, in my opinion it’s becoming kind of pointless. There are barely any costumes on the road anymore and too many young people going with the wrong intentions. I haven’t been on the parkway in a few years and I won’t be going in the coming years bc it’s not carnival anymore it’s a flag parade at this point.

Cops are purposely not at certain points of the parade. Albany and Franklin have always been a problem spot and also have less police and it has gotten way better, plus unattended teens is also a new thing, wee need to start using details when we converse about these things because it’s not flipped in our benefit.
