I have an unpopular opinion, but I’m going to say it anyway. I think you should also try to see it from the friend’s point of view.Sometimes, certain friendships can be so emotionally draining that you genuinely don’t look forward to seeing that person. You don’t want to reject them or be a bad friend, so you still make plans, but deep down you already know how the evening is going to go. You’ll sit there listening to all the negative things they have to talk about, and then you go home afterwards with a really heavy heart. I obviously don’t know the full situation here, but I also think that sometimes there’s a reason why people behave the way they do 🤗
