I think it would have been really smart for Asami to be a chi-blocker (and it would make sense with her father wanting her to have self defense against benders) it feels like the reason why the writers didn't go down that route was because they wanted somebody in team avatar to be proficient

This was the original idea but they changed it because they liked asami so much and wanted her to fill the non bender role like sokka but they didn’t write her to do enough in order to compensate changing her whole character last minute she’s written out of so many events it pisses me off and almost every time she’s relevant it’s just her driving something which isn’t a great look given that the last series had a flying bison do pretty much exactly what she did through seasons 1-3 her in season 4 is solid tho dad thing a little rushed but other than that pretty good

I think it would have been a better idea if asami was evil from the start and slowly became good each season cuz if I’m being honest, she’s such a boring main character like after season one and two she basically does nothing
