@clarekfit: I see this way too often - that women think in order to restore their period, they have to eat 3000 cals a day and gain a ton of body fat. This is just ONE piece of the puzzle to making your body feel safe to produce a regular cycle again… and truthfully, I think it’s so taxing (mentally) for a woman to endure. The women I coach are able to heal their hormones and regulate their cycles while also still focusing on their physique in a healthy, balanced way. This comes from strategic reverse dieting, and a system we have built to support stress regulation in the body, EVEN while training and working out. Your body is unique, and it will respond to the right protocol for you. 🫶🏼 #cyclesyncing #periodtok #periodrecovery #hormonecoach #hormonesupport
So right. I used to run for two hours a day. Plus working, plus staying. I lost my period for 6 months. Then I stopped and I barely gained any weight if anything I’m sharper and look leaner because I’m not inflamed. I still do cardio like 1-2 times a week at most but as soon as I stopped the high intensity running and cycling my body started working with me and not against me. I started being gentler to myself and didn’t focus on the food aspect all that much as I did on my habits and workouts.

Ruby :
If you did go down the route of thinking that you had to gain a ton of weight to get your period back, hormones and regulate your nervous system is it possible to then lose that large amount of weight without compromising your heath?
