Not that I'm anywhere near ready to date anybody seriously but I just can't even imagine trying to enter a connection with having this level of like feeling for that person and I just am also really scared to ever get involved with anybody again

Unfortunately that explanation doesn’t make the pain I feel and the seemingly “undisturbed” living he is doing, any easier. Just bc he will continue the cycle doesn’t make losing what felt like my best friend okay. As much as I want to send the paragraph, call, or meet up with him, I won’t get closure bc he can’t explain himself any further. Healing from a discard without a sense of closure or understanding, makes this feel like a tragic loss that logically I may know I’m better off. We will never know what they think or feel, bc they have never been able to express it.

I wouldn't know. I went into no contact, got my ass into EMDR therapy and one year and half later.... I'm so happy he isn't in my life.
