It's a bit late, but I downloaded the Nintendo Store app, turned on notifications and wishlisted the console. I got a notification around 4pm EST on 9/11 that the console was back in stock. I guess they did a second wave of restocks and I was able to get it. They might not do another wave, but in the future that's also a good bet. Make sure to set a default payment method and billing/shipping address to make checkout easier.

I bought my Switch 2 on launch day without a pre order. I just went to the store at opening time. Those who pre ordered went to a special queue, which was everyone except me. I went to the normal counter and was the first out of store with a switch 2

just stop buying from scalper, even if you badly want it. every single item you bought at higher price from scalpers is like supporting them to do more, by enabling them to get more budget to scalp more and also justifying them it's a profitable business to exploit us, their targets.

im reporting each of them on ebay since it is not allowed to sale. I have a switch 2 and cant justify buying another, but I am just so sick of scalpers. I wanted the pro controller. I will buy it later most likely.

ya im super bummed I've missed the new console. I haven't even gotten a switch 2 yet cause I was waiting for the zelda edition. I absolutely refuse to purchase from a scalpers so I was either gonna show up drop day and hope to get one or hope for an restock like I've seen for the zelda edition switch 1 in stores
