I bought a mattress from there around 2022, I left it in plastic until I gave it away and that person took the plastic off and bedbugs were in it this whole time 😵💫

I would NEVER buy a cheap mattress it’s just not worth it you’d be better off with a air mattress until you can afford a good one

They take the old mattress away in the same truck the new mattress comes in. I know they are wrapped up but bugs will still stole away on the plastic.

Same thing with thrifting stuff, especially from the bins. I’ve heard a couple stories over the years. Using uber or taxis a lot it’s also a culprit of bed bugs aswelll

I worked at furniture store for 15 years and I strongly suggest buying those bed bug traps that indicate whether you have them or not for all furniture

them mattress from those types of places be refurbished. I got a bed from a place like that years ago, happened to opened it up found a unalived roach and a old mattress cover within. They just put new stuffing in it and a new-cover over the old one.😏

They have been doing it for years however that’s the reason why they stop selling use mattresses because of bedbug outbreaks now they sell new mattresses only

And for anyone that doesn’t know what they do is they take bids from hotels that hotels get rid of it that I put out on the street. They take beds that are in out of houses that are abandoned and they would clean those beds down and they would sell them in the majority of the time they didn’t even properly clean them

There used to be a time where you could buy a used mattress for $100 spread it down and it was good as New before the bedbug thing became epidemic
