apple just doing something android did years ago (samsung 2018) and acting like they are breaking ground jokes aside. I do wounder if they solved the moving parts problems that led this type of thing to be a one off for samsung. cause I think it was only the galaxy s9 that samsung did this with.

It’s a wider aperture than iPhone 17, but that creates a crazy shallow depth of field, an issue already on the iPhone 17. This variable aperture solves this by being able to bring the aperture down, letting more things in focus in brighter/close-up conditions.

I think that physical touches are going to make a huge comeback and I’m all for it. Seeing the camera change physically is going to be so cool. I want to see new tactile touches with volume and other new things that I can actually feel. If anyone can do it it’s Apple.
