@annabrading: Save for later: Part 3 of 4: Maximise 💰 You don't need to earn more to have more. This one's all about finding the wins that are already sitting in your budget. 7 ways to maximise your money this term: 1️⃣ Subscription audit, cancel what you're not using
2️⃣ Compare deals (energy, mobile, broadband)
3️⃣ Get AI to write your negotiation script (prompt below 👇)
4️⃣ Check your workplace benefits
5️⃣ Meal plan
6️⃣ Cashback apps and rewards (Sprive etc.)
7️⃣ Check your pension contributions None of this is glamorous. It's just tightening the screws so your money works harder without you earning a penny more. 📋 Copy this prompt into Claude/ChatGPT to negotiate any provider deal: "I want to negotiate a better deal with my [broadband/mobile/insurance/energy] provider, [provider name]. I've been a customer for [length of time] and I'm currently paying £[amount] per month for [service/package details]. I've seen that new customers can get [competitor deal or offer, if you know of one] for around £[amount], and/or I've seen [provider name] advertising [any current promo you've spotted]. Can you write me a short script I can use on a call or in a chat with their customer service/retentions team to ask for a better price or an upgrade at no extra cost? Make it: * Polite but firm, not aggressive * Clear that I'm considering leaving if the price isn't improved * Include a line asking to be put through to the "retentions" or "loyalty" team if needed * End with a clear, specific ask (e.g. match the new customer price, or reduce my bill by £X) Keep it natural, like something I'd actually say out loud, not overly formal.’
Save this post so you've got the prompt when you need it. Part 4 (growth) is coming next.
