Back in grade school it was celebrated and was put in the gifted/gate program for having high pattern recognition. Now that my strong pattern recognition skills have allowed me to see a lot of holes in the evidence and testimonies, my character gets attacked for having those skills. it is just wild

I know the mental healthcare system is broken in many ways; LC is not an example of this. She’s an upper class white woman with access to plenty of resources. she was dishonest to her providers (she never told them about her intrusive thoughts despite for sure being asked), and she decided to stop meds before they could even take an effect. the support for LC goes beyond saying “I had intrusive thoughts too”- intrusive thoughts like that should make you feel shame and guilt, but these women are saying “yeah I can see why she did that”.
