@filmsofun: Bob was an orange stray cat who was found in London in 2007 by James Bowen, a street musician who was struggling with drug addiction. Bob was injured and abandoned, so James took him in and paid for his treatment. Bob gradually became James’s constant companion on the streets of London, accompanying him while he busked and sold The Big Issue. James later said that caring for Bob gave him a new sense of purpose and motivation to change his life. Their remarkable friendship became the subject of the book A Street Cat Named Bob and was later adapted into the 2016 film, in which the real Bob also appeared.
