I think the real boredom and frustration comes from getting to the point where you can predict the problems, but finding that preventing them is more about politics than it is about expertise. You get to the point where you can be effective and what a lot of people in leadership see is that you’re dangerous.

So, it’s not weird that I’ve been a pharmacist, nuclear reactor operator, firefighter, cosmetologist, and now I’m in nursing school? I’ve been successful in each one, I just got bored.

I just pick career's that I'm not qualified for or experienced in because doing something I'm good at won't keep me entertained for more than a few weeks.

I found something finally truly beyond my abilities. I'm just good enough at it to get paid well but I doubt I'll ever become a true master of it. it's perfect. I'm happy. hope you find your impossible field someday.

I’ve learned through human design that I’m an experimenter/explorer. I love to deep dive and then am bored and want to move on to something else that peaks my interest. It’s difficult when the world we live in praises longevity and stability.
