I took tirzepatide for around two months and lost 10ish pounds but the heart palpitations it caused me scared me so much 😭 I’ve read it’s normal but it still scared me. Have you experienced any?

Stay the course! I started back in February! I was 185 at 5’3 and today I weighed in at 120! It’s helped my PCOS so much! My PCOS facial hair is so much less and my period regulated! I never went past 5 mg!

The first weeks are slow and the dosage is low but don’t rush to up the dosage. The weight loss will happen. I was frustrated when I first started too it took several weeks

My mom, sister, and step dad are all taking glp1’s and it’s been such a tough thing to navigate as someone who has dealt with eating and body image issues my whole life. Ive worked so hard on being body neutral and I’m truly trying to just live my life and be happy/ accept they want a healthier lifestyle, but it actually is extremely triggering how fixated they are with their weight loss, it doesn’t help that they’re fixation is constantly reinforced with compliments about their bodies :/ Im aware that I sound bitter it’s just tough being unable to unsubscribe from all of it.

Don’t rush moving the dose up! Once you get it up high you have to stay there! Obviously listen to your body but I’ve seen so much advice from people saying their biggest regret was moving up too fast!! I got pregnant (whoops) on my glp1 so I’m off it for a while but just something to consider!! 💗 Best of luck on your journey!!

Not on a glp but am a pcos girly at my highest weight and only have ever done group fitness. I’m now doing one OTF a week, with a sprinkle of Pilates and just started using the Ladder app to guide me in strength training at the gym 3x a week. I used to be scared of the weight room but am already seeing results from consistent strength training and feeling amazing!

i upped my dosage super slow, and also didn’t even fully double it each time i was told to help with my adjustment and it’s been amazing. the first month or two were slow, but i’m now probably 6 months in and feel like i’m in a really good place with it, have probably lost 20-30 pounds. would highly recommend only upping when YOU feel like you have to and knowing your limits! would also recommend pilates for light strength and toning (i do mine at home on youtube). congrats on starting, it’s been life changing for me :)

So excited for you!! I started one back in March for my pcos and I’ve lost around 35-40 pounds and I’ve stayed on a micro dose the entire time! I think my body really just needed a little boost to come back to its normal state I’m amazed at how much it’s fixed my inflammation and insulin resistance on the small dose I’m on!

I lost 40lbs in 6 months on the entry dose of zepbound. I totally changed my habits. I only gained back 5lbs in the 7-8 months after stopping it. I’m back on it now. I hate the way it makes me tired and achy BUT it stops me from drinking and overeating and I love it!
