@rubydee.and.me: If you have a sports-loving toddler, listen up! We’ve found the best way for them to burn energy, socialize and maybe even develop some sports skills. Socceroof in Hamden is an INDOOR field facility. There is one larger field and three small practice fields, in addition to party rooms, cornhole and a bar. They offer leagues and classes, and their littlest futbol stars can start as early as two years old! Most soccer programs I’ve found start at 3. They take place early Saturday morning where the weather is unpredictable and you will almost certainly be soaked from dewy grass. We go Wednesday evenings after nap, are indoors (check out that ENCLOSED FIELD) and do t have to worry about getting wet, sunburned or bit by bugs.
