What if I’m an 18 year old girl and I started planning for my life and I don’t know honestly how to keep things private for myself specifically when my family or parents os someone ik start asking me about it (for example): I took a gap year to apply to study abroad and I have a strict family but the only condition was to get a scholarship if I wanted to study abroad BUT I didn’t got a scholarship this year for many reasons and as it should happened I started my freshman year here where I live but I decided to try again this time knowing damn well my parents wouldn’t love this idea and they’re actually wanting me to stuck home forever no matter how many opportunities I get in the future so when my mom asked me about how I’m gonna do with university and am I still upset or nah? And I told her what I planned for and it’s eating me alive as I told her way to much stuff and I don’t have a lovely family they’re overly strict, religious and they spill their kids tea everywhere it’s exhausting so how can I actually stop sharing? I mean I’m not really talkative or a share a lot but sometimes I get excited to be seen by my parents so I just say everything
