As someone who just renovated a kitchen… adding storage up there cost so much money (more than you would think)! She’s not doing it for storage! It’s to get the luxurious look of custom cabinets that go to the ceiling! This is a cheap way to add height! I think it looks great!

Everyone saying lost tons of storage. The fact of the matter is it’s not convenient cabinet space at all. The stuff you put up there will likely remain up there forever and never be touched because it’s a pain to get up there and take it out.
